Our 8pm screening is the British film, Living starring Bill Nighy.
Notre Dame on Fire
France , 2022, Drama 102 mins, Rated M
A documentary-style retelling of the blaze which destroyed much of the Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris in 2019.
Using dramatic reconstructions, digital effects and the splicing in of bystander video and news footage, Annaud brings this terrifying event to life from the headlines.
With buttresses about to collapse and molten lead pouring from the roof, Emergency Rescue crews faced overwhelming challenges as they risked their lives in an attempt to safeguard the building and its historic treasures.
"Annaud combines action sequences with actual footage of the event to eyebrow-scorching effect." - The Observer, UK.
