Caregiver/Nanny looking for work
Hi - my name is Vicky Holt and I live in Ashley. I have 26 years of experience caring for children and adults with special needs. I am self employed and my current family is moving out of the district so I’m looking for work either with Special Needs, elderly or pre-school children. I relate well with little ones and have been Playcentre trained. I have excellent references having had my own Autistic child who is 26 and lives in residential care in Christchurch and I worked for 4 1/2 years with a fully dependent young lady and currently with a family with a 3 year old fully dependent son plus a nearly 2 year old and a young baby. My interests outside of my work are my dogs, horses and my own family. I’m looking for permanent part time work and would love to help another family in the wider Rangiora area. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)

Roadside Rescue
