Ohariu Valley Garden Ramble

Nicholas Boyack Reporter from Community News

The Ohariu Valley Garden Ramble is on Sunday (November 28) featuring 11 gardens. The ramble is a fund-raiser for the historic Ohariu Valley Hall, which opened in 1906.
The gardens range from large country estates to smaller easier care gardens. As well as gardens, there will be a country style market at the hall selling everything from plants and preserves to refreshments.
This event only happens every few years and is a rare chance to see inside a unique rural community only 15 minutes from the central city. Sunday November 28, 10am to 4pm, rain or shine. Tickets can be bought from leigh@metcon.co.nz
