Our core business is running discussion groups for mums in the community. We’ve been running for over 35 years supporting mums in the early years of motherhood. Our groups are different from other groups where mums meet. Our aim is to empower mums to take some quality time for themselves. Our discussion groups are focused on your needs, rather than on your child/ren. We offer you the chance to be honest about your motherhood experience in a safe space with others who understand. We also provide excellent coffee/ teas and tasty snacks! The groups are run by facilitators (mums who have done a group before) whose main goal is to make sure everyone feels comfortable and to guide the discussion. To give mums a proper break our groups either run in the daytime with babysitters on hand, or in the evening without children. We also aim for the group to become a support network for each other beyond the 6 weeks, and many life-long friendships have been formed at a Mothers Network group. The attendance cost is a $60 donation, but only if you can afford it.
