You’re invited to Mary Potter Hospice’s 'Good Sports' event

Mary Potter Hospice

Our MCs Keith Quinn and Grant Nisbett, are in training for the Mary Potter Hospice fundraising evening, Wellington Good Sports. They’ll be supported by the other sports guy, Barry Guy, on 12 June at Harbourside Function Centre on the waterfront.

We have some great sporting VIPs who will attend - Melissa Moon, Philip Rush, Wai Taumaunu, Andy Leslie, Liz Perry, Alan Hewson, Dick Tayler and more... Plus Hospice Hops, a great auction, and a lot of laughs.

This will be a great night out, with the proceeds supporting Mary Potter Hospice to run its free-of-charge services in Wellington Kāpiti and Porirua. Be a Good Sport and come along!

Central city

Ruth from Aro Valley

Was amused to see in the daily that an inner-city resident thought a Central Park would be good to have in Wellington. Not sure how wise it is to advertise its existence as I do appreciate its peace as opposed to the Botanical Gardens, but yes, we do have a large mature park by that name which is accessible by a shortish walk up Willis Street and onto Brooklyn Hill.
