Clothing Swap 27th April, Hopper St, WGTN

Sally from Brooklyn

This Clothing Swap has been planned to take place at the end of Fashion Revolution Week, when we can all pause and think about where our clothes came from and where they are going. The Swap’s tagline says it all: 'Swap don’t Shop’!

The Hopper Hub Clothing Swap is run by volunteers. I've been to the previous Swaps held at the Hub and along with most women and men there, I've come away with some cool clothes. Plus it was fun to see some of my stuff go to a good home!

You can see on the poster there is an interesting guest speaker from The Formary, and a yummy homemade afternoon tea on offer. There is also at least one mending and alteration workshop planned to run alongside the Swap. From prior swaps I can tell you there will be interesting new people to meet and chat with. Something for everyone!
