Join us this International Women's Day for dance, comedy, poetry, music + more!

For International Women’s Day 2023, we’re showcasing the voices and talents of women and gender diverse people in Aotearoa New Zealand. Join us at Fourth-Wave, a festival which aims to celebrate intersectionality and empower women through kōrero and performance.

Fourth-Wave will feature dance, comedy, poetry, music, plus a live recording of a panel for our Get Woke Wellington radio show and podcast. Finger food will be provided, and a cash bar will be available for the purchase of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
