If you live locally (1km radius) and would like to have a table to hock off some of your 2nd hand gears, give us an email at info@newtowncommunity.org.nz - we have some space available and are happy to share!

We also need helpers on the morning to set up, people that want to donate baking - and other jobs! Please email if you are keen!

Each week on average four people suffer a cardiac arrest somewhere in Greater Wellington and Wairarapa. The chances of someone surviving cardiac arrest go up hugely when bystanders get straight into administering CPR, and keep on doing it until help arrives. Learn CPR. Save a life.

The Wellington Free Ambulance Heartbeat team are running 2 training sessions at the Newtown Community Centre on Tuesday 27th March, 1-2.30pm and 6-7.30pm. You only need to turn up for one session - choose which one suits you best! Register by emailing eryn@newtowncommunity.org.nz or call 04 3894786.


Sessions are free and available for everyone.

Newtown community centre is located on the corner of Rintoul and Colombo Streets.
