Join a Lions Club!
It's a new year! Would you like to join a group helping your community while having fun at the same time? When we join a Lions Club, we often join to make a difference in our community. What we don't realize is that the experience of being a Lion makes a profound difference in us. We grow. We give. We love. We learn. We gain confidence. We collaborate. We change lives, including our own. ~ Lion Carolyn
Wellington Host Lions, who have many members from the Eastern Suburbs, are having an information evening on 27 February, 7.30pm at Central Baptist Church, 46 Boulcott Street in the city. Come along for light refreshments and meet some real live Lions! For more info phone Stephanie on 027 245 8859
Poll: Is it rude to take a full trolley to self-checkout?
Luckily self-checkout is pretty common in supermarkets these days and we generally use it to quickly buy a few things without the long lines. But perhaps it's appropriate to head there with your full trolley to skip the lines?
