Beef mince recalled in Tauranga
Pak'n Save Tauriko is recalling a batch of its own branded NZ Beef Mince due to the possible presence of white latex fragments.
In a statement released yesterday, the Ministry for Primary Industries advised customers not to consume the product and to return them back to Pak'n Save Tauriko for a full refund. There have been no reports of associated injury.
What you need to know:
- The official product title is Pak’n Save Tauriko brand NZ Beef Mince and it was packed in various weights of approximately 1kg.
- The best before date is 04/12/2020.
- The possible presence of latex is due to the gloves that employees wore when packaging the product.
Customers are encouraged to get in contact with Pak'n Save Tauriko on (07) 571 0381 or visit instore at 2 Taurikura Drive, Tauriko, Tauranga. For more information see the New Zealand Food Safety website.
