Volunteers Needed for World Championship Event
Tauranga City is hosting the World Junior Squash Champs 19-29 July. It's the largest international sporting event the City has hosted (in terms of the number of countries participating). This is going to be great for the City. Four venues are being utilised - QEYC (featuring a full glass court and seating for around 1000 people), Devoy Squash, Te Puke Squash and Mt Squash Clubs. To help ensure the Event’s success, we have over 200 Volunteers Roles available to help to showcase New Zealand to the squash world – can you join us? You don't need to know anything about squash, just have a friendly can-do attitude and be great ambassadors for our City and for Squash.
There's lots of different volunteer roles to suit different skills and we're flexible around time commitments - whether you can help for a few days, a few shifts or the whole time we'd love to hear from you. Maybe you know someone that would also be interested, if so then please share the details. Volunteer roles and event information can be found at: www.wsfworldjuniors.com...

What's your favourite tomato recipe?
Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
