Raising heritage pigs
Hi everyone, we are going to try to raise a couple of Berkshire heritage pigs on our block. First time and all that so very nervous. We would like to know if anyone knows of any produce or markets or milk etc that would have left overs Etc . We are wanting to use as much produce left overs to balance and vary their diets. We are keen to find a run or even vege left overs from people who would donate to our pigs. We are in Swannanoa but I travel every day to Chch to work . And can collect . I'm sure there can be some sort of payment or barter system. They will be free ranging our paddocks to allow them to graze also. We are very keen to hear from anyone who could assist . Many thanks for reading our next adventure.
