MetService has issued a heavy rain watch for the following:
Area: Bay of Plenty including Rotorua.
Valid: 9 hours from 1:00am to 10:00am Wednesday.
Forecast: A period of heavy rain, and rainfall accumulations may approach warning criteria.
An update for severe weather will be issued by 9:00pm Tuesday 20 Aug 2019.
