How are you commemorating Anzac Day this year?
Waimakariri's Stuart Hannah has created a 4 metre high Anzac tribute supported by three crosses with the names and serial numbers of his family members who have fought for NZ. The large Poppy was made from an old car bonnet.
Stu was inspired by a mate in Australia to do something to honour Anzac Day this year. Being an ex-Air Force man himself, with family members serving in WWI, WWII and Vietnam, and wife Catherine's grandfather serving in the the British army in WWII, he felt this was a fitting way to honour and remember them during the nationwide lockdown.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
