The weather's looking pretty wet for the next few days Kāpiti, with our friends at MetService New Zealand issuing a heavy rain warning for the Tararua Range from midday 12pm Thursday to 3pm Friday.
Get prepared and watch out for...
🌧️ heavy rain and rapidly rising streams and rivers
💧 possible surface flooding and slips
🚗 hazardous driving conditions.
Remember to check and clear your stormwater drains and spouting early to avoid risk of flooding.
Keep an eye on the weather and check MetService and Wellington Region Emergency Management Office for the latest updates.
