Pick'n'Mix 2020 Covid-19 Update

Richard Bywater from Kapiti Playhouse

Some of you might be wondering what's happening with our Pick'n'Mix 2020 variety evening given the recent change in Covid-19 alert levels.

The good news is that, at this stage, it's scheduled for when we are hopefully back at Alert Level 1 so we are carrying on with preparations for what is shaping up to be a great evening of entertainment. This will of course be reviewed when we receive any updates from the Government.

To help make it easier for you to decide on whether to buy a ticket, you can currently book your seat and pay for it closer to the time once things are a bit clearer. So get in touch with Liz today to book your seat! See our website for details.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
