New Plymouth Christmas Parade 2024

Charles Thurston from New Plymouth Central Lions Club

The Annual New Plymouth Christmas Parade is on Saturday 30 November starting at 1pm by the Clocktower on Devon St, New Plymouth. Santa and Mrs Claus will be escorted by our emergency services, drama groups, schools, cheerleaders and our Taranaki Rugby Union with the Ranfurly Shield and supporters! The Devon Brass Band and Caledonian Pipe Band will provide their usual Christmas Tunes.
There are prizes for best entries; School, Theme, or Community Group.
A pool of $4000 value will recognise outstanding entries, with sponsorship from Mediaworks MoreFM, Toyworld, Devon Hotel, Hardy Packaging and Pak'N'Save!
The organisers are still accepting entries; so if you have a group that wants to dance, cheer, entertain by walking or riding on a float, come join us! and support Santa as the Season of Goodwill gets underway!
The entry form is attached or txt Charles on 0278397775.
