Adam's Swansong concert
The Taranaki Symphony Orchestra (TSO) presents its Masterworks concert this Saturday. This is the Music Director, Adam Jasinski's last concert after conducting TSO for 23 years and presenting 73 concerts for the Taranaki public.
This concert has a special treat: Beethoven's Violin Concerto with violinist Helene Pohl. Helene is American trained, but has performed in many countries and is also leader of the NZ String Quartet. This concerto is possibly the most popular of all violin concertos.
Tickets from Ticketek.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
