A Challenge to all Local Bodies to equal or beat the ZERO rates increases already decided by some.
Many people, organisations and businesses have tried to ease the pain of Covid-19 by donating/volunteering or cutting/suspending costs. Others of course have felt the full force of the virus so are unable to do so - they may be the beneficiaries of the former. Worse still some have gone to the wall and there may be worse to come. One area where savings appear to be possible is local authority charges including rates. I see some have got the message but others are still to see the light.

Problems with something you bought?
When you buy something, it should be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose and last for a reasonable time. Sometimes, things don't work out that way. If you purchased from a retail store, you may have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act or the Fair Trading Act.
If the thing you bought is faulty, we can help sort out what rights you have.
