Central Hawke's Bay towns prepare to run out of water
Two Central Hawke's Bay towns are about to run out of water.
Residents of Waipawa and Otane are urgently being urged to conserve water and prepare for the taps to run dry at 2.30pm on Friday.
A private contractor hit the main water line that feeds the reservoir for Waipawa and the main line to Otane on Friday morning.
Contractors are working to repair the damage. More here.
