Carter Court Market Day
Carter Court Rest Home is hosting a Market Day on Saturday
23rd November 2019 between 10am and 2pm. The aim of the day is to bring our community and families together in support of Carter Court and our residents. It will also act as a fundraiser.
The Market Day will feature stalls with local crafts and produce, entertainment, Devonshire Tea, a variety of food and refreshments, raffles and other fundraising events. For the kids there will be face painting, a bouncy-castle, horse and cart rides and mini-model railway!
Carter Court benefits from the generosity of our communities. Please take some time out to come along, bring the kids and show your support!

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
