Community paper readers - WIN tickets to Madiba, the musical!

Revolutionary leader Nelson Mandela – known by his tribe as Madiba – would have been 100 this year. In celebration of his birthday and his legacy, a compelling new stage show, Madiba the Musical – a Celebration of Nelson Mandela is coming to Auckland.

This international production is interwoven with stories of the fight against apartheid and forbidden love in a troubled land. The musical pays tribute to New Zealand and the dramatic part it played in bringing an end to apartheid.

We have 10 double passes to give away to the show Madiba, the musical, which will take place on January 25 at the Bruce Mason Centre, Takapuna. Like or thank this post to go into the draw.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
