Looking for volunteers
Hi. We at Hawke's Bay Knowledge Bank are looking for more volunteers, family histories, very old Hawke's Bay photos and so on. Oh - also any funding for the KB would be appreciated greatly. We scan and preserve HB history on line (see knowledgebank.org.nz to see what we do). There's lots of options for volunteers including doing work at home - work at Stoneycroft House the home of KB - scanning, typing, assessing, etc etc.We welcome visitors to Stoneycroft to see the place working - we're friendly and love the work - hours are your own to suit - 1 or more a week or a month - your choice - and you'll be helping preserve the history and the memories of the people of Hawke's Bay for the future. Cleaning a heat pump
Hi everyone. Can anyone recommend a reliable and reasonable company to clean our heat pump. We used it on cold for a couple of days and when turning it back to warm it has a smell. We get it serviced yearly but the firm we use is expensive.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
