It’s been a long wait for coffee...but the wait is finally over!
This Tuesday, the 27th March, Te Kowhai Village Café will be opening for business.
“Finally!” I hear you say.
Well, me too. I’ve got a few more grey hairs than I had last year.
I am Choung, and I run a café and bakery in Pukekohe and Raglan. I am very pleased to be able to now support Te Kowhai with a café of their own.
My son, Sovandy and I have over 15 years’ experience running our bakeries and cafés. We will be offering:
• All day breakfasts as well as other hot menu items.
• Pies, pastries, sausage rolls, sandwiches and filled rolls.
• Cakes and sweets.
• Event catering for parties, work smokos or lunches.
• Cold drinks, milkshakes and smoothies and…
• Coffee!
To begin with we’ll open from 6.00am through to 5.00pm and we’ll see how local demand goes.

We need an experienced server / barista and someone to clean and clear tables. If you’re interested, PM me.
We look forward to meeting you soon!

Only the Sharpest Minds Will Get This Riddle… Are You One of Them?
I twinkle and glow, guiding paths in the snow.
I’m not the sun, moon, or star in the sky,
yet on rooftops and trees, you’ll see me up high.
What am I?

Poll: Do you think a partial demolition is the right call?
One of the most recognisable buildings at Waikato Diocesan School for Girls could be demolished, except for part of the façade.
The school is asking for resource consent to knock down most of the earthquake-prone Cherrington House as part of plans to build a larger, safer administration block.
Do you think a partial demolition is the right call? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
