Callous driver
On Thursday (24/01/19) at about 8 - 8.15am a driver ran over our 15 mth old kitten on Smith St and didn't even bother to stop. His injuries were so severe that I might assume the driver was possibly exceeding the speed limit. I am sick of the speed at which some drivers travel in our street even although there are speed humps. Let me warn you.... from here on any car that I see speeding in Smith st will be reported to the Police. There are also a lot of young children further down the street and I certainly would not want see them hit. I hope the driver who killed our cat sees this. You could have at least had the decency to stop and let one of the residents know. Karma will get you in the end......
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
