Pioneer Leisure Pool Closure
The Leisure Pool is currently closed and expected to re open at 5:30am on Tuesday 8/11/2016.
Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for confirmation of the pools re opening. The Lane pools, spa, sauna and steam room are all still operational. Lane pool swimming lessons are still being held, but any lessons held in the Leisure Pool or the Teach Pool, have been cancelled for today. All accounts for missed lessons will be credited. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. ^RB
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
