Papanui High School Crochet Nightclass Term 3
Do you want to learn how to crochet? Come along to Papanui High School and join this fun Nightclass where you will learn the basic crochet techniques of chain, double crochet, treble and tieing off. Students will do some practice crocheting which can be turned into an object of their choice, they will also learn how to make a beanie and a granny square which is the basic square for many blanket designs. This class is being held on a Tuesday night 7-9 pm at Papanui High School starting on 7 August and will run for 2 nights 7 & 14 August at a cost of $75. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
