28 Papanui - Lyttelton bus service detouring away from Opawa Rd next week
From Monday 13th March until Thursday 16th March between 8pm and 5am each night all buses travelling towards Lyttelton will detour away from the Opawa Rd / Garlands Rd intersection while road works are carried out at night. Buses will detour off Opawa Rd onto Ensors Rd and Brougham St back onto Opawa Rd to continue the normal route. Bus stops 325069, 32510, 32421 and 41309 on Opawa Rd and stop 32990 on Garlands Rd will be closed during this time and passengers can use existing stops on either side of the detour instead. Buses travelling towards the city are not affected. View detour map below.
