MenzShed in St Martins?
A possible site for a MenzShed has become available in St Martins area. MenzSheds can be a great place for blokes to get together, learn new skills, and do things for the community. There will be a public meeting on Monday 27th May at 7.15pm at St Martins Presbyterian Church, 43 St Martins Road, to take some first steps to develop this project. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
