AGM of the Weymouth Residents and Rate Payers was adjourned
Part One of the AGM of the Weymouth Residents and Rate Payers Incorporated society took place in the Weymouth Community Hall last night (Thurs 6 August). The meeting was adjourned at the point and time determined in the Agenda. The meeting will resume for Part Two at a date and time yet to be determined. It will be members only.
A number of residents stayed behind and held a meeting and presumably elected officers who they will say are the new committee for the society. The founding members of the Society and current members do not agree.
Nevertheless, we wish them well with their new society. Additional representation can only be good for Weymouth.

Chairman Weymouth Residents and Rate Payers Incorporated
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
