One step to get out of 'meh'...
The pandemic is having a huge toll on all of us - you might find you're stuck in a state of feeling 'meh', uninspired and stagnant.
We don't have the ability to influence the Covid situation - circumstances are beyond our control, which is a recipe for this state of being 'meh'.
However, research shows that "acceptance coping" results in significantly less distress during such times.
Importantly, acceptance isn't a passive process. It's not giving up. Rather, it's reminding ourselves "this is how things are right now". Psychologists call this helpful, active acceptance, as opposed to resigning acceptance.
