Heartbeats Cardiac Rehabilitation and Support Group
Heartbeats West Auckland next meeting is at SturgesWest Community House, 52 Summerland Drive, Henderson, tomorrow 3rd November, at 1pm - 2pm.
Heartbeats is a community-based cardiac education and support group that meets on the first TUESDAY of each month to:
- help each other and partners, with long term personal rehabilitation and cardiac health management
- provide better understanding of heart disease
- provide connections for heart event survivors and those who have heart disease, with cardiac healthcare providers
Heartbeats meetings often have a guest speaker, usually a health professional such as: doctors, cardiologists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, dietitians, heart health counsellors etc
Heartbeats is not a counselling service, a social club or an exercise group - we are an Auckland wide group that brings together heart event survivors, their family and whanau to better understand and help them deal with their life-changing situation.
There is no membership fee or any signing up. COME ALONG, we are informal, friendly and totally inclusive. Our Interest is only on your heart condition and learning how to live with it.
We are all about "SHARING THE JOURNEY"
