Developers moving in next door

Sara from Mount Wellington

Does anyone have experience with developers putting in high density housing next door? I have just found out that there will be 5-6 new houses going in next door and this is going to severely impact me. We will be living I a fish bowl! Not to mention it will block out all the sun in the mornings and my view will be tricky tacky boxes instead of big sky! 😡😢
What can I do?? What are my rights or at least what are the rules around how high they are allowed to go? Here’s my view now from my lounge room. Soon it will be a wall of houses with people looking into my house!
