Governance and Strategic Thinking WORKSHOP

Venue: Studio 4, Te Tuhi, 13 Reeves Road, Pakuranga, Auckland.
Session 1 will explore the new expectations of boards of not for profits including the important strategic leadership role. Part A will cover an easy way to understand the role of the board compared to management including the legal responsibilities of board members. In Part B of the session, we will discuss the role of the board in strategy and how to ensure the organisation has a plan that gives clarity and can respond to the changing environment.
Session 2 (OPTIONAL) follows lunch, and is a time where Carol can give more personalised/group assistance and input as you and your group work on or consider your own Plans and Strategy and consider your group's Governance needs and requirements. A great time to follow up the first session with some practical application and an opportunity to ask Carol some questions.
