Calling all community minded neighboursβ¦ this Sunday (29th) is the Oratia Community Disaster Response workshop β 2pm at the Oratia Bowling Club.
How resilient is your household or what impact do large scale weather events have on our community?
The Oratia Ratepayers and Residents Association are looking for community members to join us and create a resilience network for Oratia, so we can be better prepared for the next disaster or extreme weather event.
Come along to this free workshop and find out how we can make our community disaster ready β together.
And we will have pizza!
Please register by emailing secretary@oratia.org.nz, for catering purposes.

Why make finding reserving books harder in Auckland libraries?
Just using the last digit of a customers library card should be sufficient?
So all books for a customer go in the same place.

What's your favourite recipe for courgettes?
Kia ora neighbours. If you've got a family recipe for courgettes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our January 2025 issue.
