Are you keeping it old school?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

We know that things come back around, look at vinyl records!

Do you still use any old-school technology (like landlines or VHS tapes) at home?

Unused Stationery Needed to Help Set Up a Classroom for 9-10 Year Olds

Simon from Meadowbank

Hi everyone,

Weโ€™re feeling super proud as our daughter, Zoรซ, has just landed her first job as a primary school teacher! She starts next week, teaching a lively group of 9-10-year-old boys and girls.

Zoรซโ€™s classroom budget for the year is only $100, which needs to cover essentials like stationery (coloured and plain A4 & A3 paper, felt tips, whiteboard markers, HB and coloured pencils, cellotape, Blu Tack, etc.) and even reading books. As you can imagine, this doesnโ€™t stretch far for a class of 25+ children.

If you have any unused stationery new or old, lying around at home or books suitable for 9-10-year-olds that your kids have outgrown, Zoรซ would be incredibly grateful to put them to good use!

Sheโ€™d be happy to come by and pick them up from you, or youโ€™re welcome to drop them off at our place at 19 Manapau St, Meadowbank (just by the train station).

Thank you so much for supporting a new teacher and helping inspire the next generation to learn, create, and thrive! ๐ŸŽจโœจ

Warm regards,
Simon Cope
