Auckland Council staff redirected in advance of Cyclone Gabrielle hitting the region
π£ We are closing all non-essential services across the region on Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 February as the region prepares for Cyclone Gabrielle.
β This includes libraries, community centres, early childhood education centres, and active recreation centres.
β
Only critical regulatory services activities, such as building assessments, will continue to take place.
β
Essential services, such as our contact centres and cemeteries, will remain open.
β‘οΈ We are redirecting our staff to support the CDCs and evacuation shelters.

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesnβt have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
