help needed please, thank you
hey lovely neighbours
I've just dropped a friend of mine off at women's refugee (who have been fantastic) - she is there thanks to the Police & Family Action - been there for a week or so (me, and many others, have been worried about her for much longer...)
I could tell you what has happened to her, in broad strokes, and/or in detail - she is very open and honest - lets just say she has been to hell and back, through one nightmare after another. she is the type of person who would literally give you the shirt off her back and would never ever ask for help for herself - I'm helping her as much as I can - but getting worried
so one: this is a back up plan - I'm picking some newspaper up tomorrow. I've got plenty of small newspaper sorted - what we need at the moment is LARGE newspaper sheets - please, thank you (when did the Herald swtich to small pages? - so annoying when you have large things to pack) - I can pick up - but hopefully this is just a backup (could pack & box stuff today because lacking large sheets of newspaper)
that's it really - large newspaper (which I may or may not need)
one is a bit of an ask. two - well, two - if anyone is feeling particularity neighborly, she has rented a storage unit at Storage King in central Henderson - we need a hand moving on Tuesday (she needs to be out by Wednesday) - (people and/or vehicles but please, please, *please*, be trustworthy -) (I have asked for quotes from movers - were supposed to call yesterday - still no word, getting worried)(plus she doesn't have the funds, winz triggers her)
(oh! maybe this is not a good idea - just worried - so much left to do... bathroom & kitchen mostly done, bedroom 1 & 2 (of 4) mostly done) - some stuff moved, but much more to go... we do need help
- but she has been taken advantage of so many times, by so many people - had so much taken away and stolen from her (from her childhood/innocence (a family member caught another family member sexually abusing her when she was 3 - *3*!)) to recent events in her 50s (which she is very open and honest about - wants to be an inspiration for other survivors - she is the most loving, generous, kind person you could ever meet - but people do take advantage of her) - maybe this is not a good idea...
(honestly, I don't expect a respond - but you don't ask, you don't get)
If anyone is especially particularly kind, she was just started a small business before all this happened - we're putting this stuff in the laundry in the meantime so it is last to go into storage - a separate safe secure place where she could access this would be ideal (but this is her entire business investment - so would have to be *really* safe and secure)
please, thank you - have a lovely day regardless :)
