Kim from Saint Johns

The School Uniform Centre is pleased to be helping out the Give a Kid a Blanket registered charity again this year as a drop off point for the Eastern Suburbs area.

You can send in any new or pre-loved blankets, bedding etc between May 30th and July 19th.

Please note all Pre-loved items MUST be freshly laundered and be dropped off in a bag or box, we cannot accept loose items.

We will also very happily receive couriered items straight from stores.
Please address to:

Kim Posner
School Uniform Centre
588 Remuera Road
Remuera
Auckland 1050

We will be taking a register of the names and phone numbers of each person donating, but if you could label the outside of your donation that would be wonderful.

We look forward to helping the wider Auckland community this year and spreading some love and warmth with all your awesome donations!

Here's a bit more info:

Give A Kid A Blanket is a community action of kindness. We gather donations of warmth from across the wider Auckland area and gift these to kids and families in need through health and social agencies including public health nurses, Police, Community and Social workers. We want recipients to feel both warmed and valued by the community.

What to donate: New and excellent condition pre-loved blankets, sleeping bags, duvets, baby sleep sacks, winter bedding, duvet covers, pyjamas, beanies, socks, jumpers, winter coats, rain coats, cots, Moses baskets. We are only able to accept New Pillows and New Hot-water bottles

(NO other types of clothing thanks)

Donation Protocols (Covid-19)
All donations must be bagged or boxed, no loose donations please. All Pre-loved donations must be washed by the donor before donating. When donating please place donations where the donation drop point host asks. They will then be quarantined for 72 hours before being handled.
