"CHERISH " is an award-winning drama from one of New Zealand’s foremost playwrights. It’s a story of the interpersonal conflicts between two couples and the children they share.

It looks at what happens when good intentions run up against the hard realities of human need.

Director Sian Davis directed a full production in 2011 because she was taken with its “immediacy, its intensity, its beauty, its tenderness. I truly believe it’s a genuine NZ classic”.

“Extraordinary and exciting.” Dominion Post Review 2003

Ken Duncum is a leading New Zealand playwright and screenwriter. His scripts have won awards in theatre and television. His plays Cherish and Trick of the Light won best new New Zealand play at the Chapman Tripp Theatre Awards in 2003 and 2004. The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz
