Boulder Hill Bushwalk & Panorama - Sat 19 Oct 10.30 am
To get there:
• take the Kelson exit from SH2 & follow Major Drive approx 2.5km
• turn left into Kaitangata Cres., & continue about 1.2km to GW carpark on left just beyond a power pylon; meet here by the noticeboards

To get there:

• if the carpark is full, park on the roadside in Kaitangata Cres (not on the private road uphill from the carpark).
We did a recce last weekend & suggest you allow 2.5 hours up & back (might depend on weather & how long we linger at the summit!)
• family, friends, visitors welcome (no dogs please)
• bring wind/waterproof jacket (just in case)+ drink, snack/lunch
• medium fitness + suitable footwear needed (climb on way up).

2. Clematis walk to Boulder Hill, October – date to be confirmed. Join us to celebrate springtime with a bushwalk then the all-around views from the summit. Details to be posted mid-Sept.

Moera Community Hall, 107 Randwick Crescent, Moera (this is not our usual venue).
In addition to an update on what is happening in the Park, there will presentations on the Riverlink project and the work of the Whanganui a Tara Whaitua committee which is charged with developing a water and land management plan for the catchments including all those on the Eastern side of the Park's watershed.
