Affiliated with the Community Patrols of New Zealand Charitable Trust, our local, self-funded, 100% volunteer Community Patrol borrows the local Beach Warden vehicle to patrol the local streets, acting as “Eyes and Ears” for the New Zealand Police. Our regular, highly visible, presence throughout Foxton Beach also makes residents feel safer and more secure - particularly thise living alone and our elderly. Patrolling commenced in December 2018 and we hope to expand to cover Foxton township in 2019.
