Taita is a suburb of Lower Hutt but pre 1944 Taita was a village under the Hutt COUNTY Council..
More people lived in Taita than in the Hutt at the Fort Richmond Stockade.
Book available at Paper Plus 228 High Street Lower Hutt.
From 2pm Sunday 6 June 2021.
