A VERY SPECIAL Event for New Zealand....
This is a SHOUT OUT to put a circle around Sunday 27th October. On this day a Dawn Blessing & Opening Ceremony will take place on the kainga alongside Kororipo Pā to honour our past and herald the beginning of Tūhono Kerikeri bicentennial celebrations - 200 years!
Everyone is welcome to come along and experience being part of this wonderful 'once in a lifetime' cultural and historical dawn ceremony.
Venue: Kororipo Heritage Park (Kerikeri Basin)
5.00am: Gather in the carpark at the bottom of Kerikeri Road
5.30am: Together we will walk the track up onto the kainga of Kororipo Pā
6.00am: Dawn Blessing
10.00pm: Official Opening
