New flight service: Whangarei to Auckland
New Zealand owned airline based at Auckland Airport, Fly My Sky, has announced the introduction of scheduled flights between Auckland and Whangarei, starting October 23rd 2018.
The scheduled flights will operate return journeys twice daily, Monday to Friday. The flight service will operate using Fly My Sky’s twin engine Britten Norman Islander aircraft, capable of transporting up to 9 passengers and accompanying luggage.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
