A gift from the sunny North to the citizens of Christchurch & Dunedin

Alison Shrigley Reporter from Whangārei Leader

Terry Ward and the Lions Club team were a hive of activity this morning receiving bags, boxes and lots more of local citrus that is loaded onto a truck (courtesy of Mainfreight) and bound for Christchurch and Dunedin. Mainly lemons and oranges to keep our South Island friends healthy this Winter!

GREAT teamwork with the help of One Agency Whangarei, Mainfreight and of course the Lions Club - plus our community who gave their Citrus to the South Island,

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?

noisy dogs

Rob from Central Whangarei

lats get cracking on this topic.
Ignorant, selfish dog "owners" that allow their dogs to bark all bloody night and to hell with neighbors right to reasonable peace and quiet and reluctance of authorities to do anything
