energyclub

Peter from Kamo

Very disappointed, I am. I joined up with Stuff's energyclub, and out of the blue I got an email from Contact today that they have now got all of the energyclub accounts. And this a few weeks only after energyclub sent me an email that they are lowering rates and increasing their buy-back of solar distributed generation.

No advanced warning.

So I just spent the afternoon calculating my usage over the last 6 months and how much surplus electricity we generated. And now I have to go shop around, because none of the so called comparison sites take anywhere near enough factors into consideration.

If anyone has a supplier in the Whangarei area that doesn't charge like a wounded bull and pays decent rates on buy-back, I'd love to hear about it. Contact is far from my first choice; Australian Corporate that they are.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
