We are nearly there!
In March we will be sharing our plan with you, you can read what’s been proposed in our Long term Plan consultation document and take a look at the detail that supports it.
Formal consultation starts on 7 March and closes 8 April 2018.
To help us develop this plan we started talking to you about it last year. It gave us a clear idea of the issues that are important to you, and we call these 'Key Issues'.
They include:
* Continuing focus on core assets
* Getting set-up for the future
* Keeping our place nice and making it even better to live here.
Our Public Meetings are being held to provide you with information and hear your comments and any concerns about the plan.
We encourage you to tell us what you think your rates money should be spent on.

MOTORKHANAS are a clubsport basic event, these are entry level events that have minimal requirements.
All you need is a car that is up to WOF standard and be over the age of 12 years old. (no helmet or overalls required).

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
