Whangarei Public Dog Park

Tony from Onerahi

Hello everyone our Whangarei District Council has made an official opening date for the new revamp drainage of the dog park.. Wednesday 29th May at 8 am.

The Whangarei District Council says; "Thank you to all dog owners for your patience over the last three months while the drainage work was completed."

Hopefully this week the council will be finishing a few repairs to make sure the dog park is one of the leading dog parks in New Zealand.... at $250.000.00 revamp come down for your inspection to see how your money was spent.

The photos of the water are still current issues to be fixed. photos from last week rain shower. Are you disappointed that the council hasn't done the job fully? .

Thanks Tony Gill

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
