Cancer Society Northland would like to advise Whangarei that the political forum scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 13 August has been postponed.
A forum was scheduled for Daffodil House Whangarei to host,
• Dr Shane Reti National 10.30 – 12.30
• Emily Henderson Labour/Moea Armstrong Greens /Mariameno Kapa-Kingi Maori Party 1.30-3.30pm
All Political campaigning is on hold whilst we are in Alert Level 2 of Covid -19
A decision about the scheduled sessions in Kawakawa next week will be made on Monday.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
